New Student Council Appointed

21st April 26

We have officially announced its newly appointed Student Council, marking the beginning of a fresh chapter in student leadership for the 2026–27 academic year. The new council brings together a diverse group of students who will represent the voice of the student body, champion community initiatives, and help shape the cultural and academic life of the college.

The appointment follows a competitive selection process in which candidates demonstrated their commitment to student welfare, academic excellence, and community engagement. Staff members praised this year’s cohort for their creativity, leadership potential, and willingness to take on new challenges.

The newly appointed council members will take on responsibilities ranging from organising student events to advising on college policies that affect daily life. Early discussions suggest that priorities for the year include:

  • Strengthening student wellbeing initiatives
  • Expanding extracurricular opportunities
  • Enhancing communication between students and staff
  • Promoting diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness
  • Supporting academic enrichment programmes

The council will begin its work immediately, with introductory meetings and planning sessions scheduled over the coming weeks. Congratulations to our new council on their appointment and a huge thank you to our outgoing student council!
