Success at the 2026 Moving Picture Awards

We are delighted to celebrate the success of former Year 13 student Gleb Glasunov, who has been shortlisted for Best Short Film at the 2026 Moving Image Awards.
This prestigious recognition highlights Gleb’s creativity, technical skill and dedication to filmmaking, developed during his time at DLD. Being shortlisted at a national awards ceremony is a significant achievement and reflects the high standard of student work produced here at DLD.
In addition to this individual success, DLD has also been recognised as a Highly Commended Centre at the awards. This commendation acknowledges the collective hard work, commitment and support of both staff and students during the previous academic year, and underlines our strength in delivering outstanding outcomes in creative and media subjects.
Together, these achievements demonstrate DLD’s continued commitment to nurturing talent, encouraging ambition and supporting students to reach their full potential beyond the classroom.
