Students Excel in Prestigious UKMT Challenge

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students in the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Challenge, one of the UK’s most respected national mathematics competitions.
This year, a large number of DLD students took part in the challenge, showcasing their problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and mathematical creativity. Their hard work and dedication have been rewarded with an impressive collection of Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Merit Certificates across the cohort — a reflection of our strong mathematics provision and the commitment of both students and staff.
The UKMT Challenge aims to inspire a love of mathematical reasoning and enrich the experience of students who enjoy tackling complex problems beyond the classroom. Competing against thousands of students nationwide, DLD’s mathematicians rose to the challenge, demonstrating both skill and perseverance.
We continue to foster a culture of academic excellence through its innovative mathematics programmes, including A Levels, GCSE, and the International Foundation Programme (IFP). We also offers a range of enrichment opportunities such as the Further Maths Club, which encourages students to explore the beauty and depth of pure mathematics in a collaborative and stimulating environment.
