On 19 March, DLD College London welcomed The University Guys for an insightful workshop designed to help Year 12 students navigate the process of applying to international universities. The session drew an enthusiastic audience of around 60 students, all eager to broaden their understanding of global higher education pathways.
During the workshop, students examined the application of a fictional candidate, analysing their academic record, extracurricular involvement, and personal statement. After a lively discussion, students voted on whether the candidate would be successful — a hands‑on activity that encouraged critical thinking and highlighted what truly strengthens an international university application.
This event forms part of DLD’s ongoing programme of enrichment activities, each aimed at expanding students’ horizons and equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their futures. By offering expert guidance and exposure to a wide range of higher education options, the College continues to support students in shaping ambitious and well‑considered next steps.
