SCAD Visit DLD

Earlier this term, Honor Bowman Executive Dean of Academic Services and Matt Robertson Chair of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design visited DLD Art Department.
Initially they engaged with the Year 14 IFP students offering feed back on their current observational drawing project led by Chad Calderbank.
In a Year 12 Photography class an open discussion was held with the students focusing on the current images they have created and how they have presented these through the use of photoshop and poster size prints as layouts focusing on the narrative aspect of presenting a series of photographs together.
The students gained a valuable insight into how SCAD looks at students work and the wide bredth of under graduate courses they offer across their three campuses, their admissions procedures and the SCAD Summer Seminars on offer for July 2026.
