28th November 25
Last week, DLD College London was alive with colour, flavour, music, and celebration as our community came together to mark Culture Day—one of the most cherished events in the college calendar.
With students representing over 70 nationalities, DLD is a global community every single day, but Culture Day offers a unique opportunity for everyone to proudly share the traditions that shape their identity. From traditional clothing and cultural artefacts to homemade dishes, music, and personal stories, the day was a joyful showcase of the diversity that enriches college life.
The atrium buzzed with excitement as students visited stalls hosted by their peers, sampling foods from around the world, learning about different customs, and discovering the histories behind them. Staff also joined in the celebration, contributing their own cultural experiences and supporting students as they presented their heritage.
What made the day truly special was the spirit of unity and curiosity that filled the college. Students and staff came together not only to celebrate what makes each culture unique, but also to appreciate the shared values, creativity, and humanity that connect us all.
Culture Day once again highlighted the inclusive, international ethos at the heart of DLD College London—reminding us that our differences are something to celebrate, and our diversity is one of our greatest strengths.
We look forward to many more opportunities throughout the year to continue embracing the global community that makes DLD such a vibrant and inspiring place to learn.
