Celebrating the Class of 2025

25th June 25

Central Hall Westminster played host to an unforgettable day of celebration as DLD College London honoured the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2025. Parents, guardians, friends, and staff gathered for a heartfelt Graduation Ceremony, marking the end of one journey and the exciting beginning of another.

Adding to the occasion was special guest and DLD alumna, Gabriele Watts, now a Barrister at 2 Hare Court, who returned to address the graduating cohort. Reflecting on her own time at DLD, she described it as “some of the happiest years of my life,” expressing gratitude to those who supported her along the way. Her words reminded students that the path to success is rarely linear, encouraging them to stay resilient and true to their goals.

Former Heads of School Arian and Mariella also took to the stage, delivering moving speeches that touched on current global challenges, the vital role of supportive staff, and the enduring strength of friendships made at DLD. Their reflections resonated deeply with the graduating class, uniting everyone in a shared sense of pride, hope, and community.

Reflecting on the day, James Kidd, Principal said, “We’ve had a fantastic day of celebrating our departing students as they come to the end of their journey with us. It was a ‘full circle’ moment to have former DLD student, international barrister Gabriele Watts back to share her story and inspire our students to excel. We heard super speeches from outgoing Heads of School Arian and Mariella and to top it off, one of last year’s Heads of School, Olivia, also joined the fun – we can’t keep former students away! It’s moments like today where we are reminded just how good the students are! We wish all of our students the best of luck on the next stage of their academic careers!”

As the students of 2025 step forward into the next chapter of their lives, we offer them our warmest congratulations and best wishes for the future. You’ll always be part of the DLD family (and our alumni network – keep an eye on your inbox over the coming months!). ❤️
