Table Tennis Tournament

Our highly anticipated table tennis tournament took place this week with a thrilling final match between Year 12 student Daniel T and Head of Business, Patric C. After a fiercely competitive rally, it was Daniel who emerged victorious, claiming the title of DLD table tennis champion.
The tournament drew players from across the school community, showcasing both student and staff talent. It fostered a vibrant atmosphere of friendly competition and camaraderie, demonstrating the power of sport to bring people together.
In the final, Daniel displayed exceptional composure and technique, while Patric kept the pressure high with sharp returns and strategic play. Spectators gathered to cheer on both finalists in a match that was as entertaining as it was intense.
This event was part of DLD’s ongoing enrichment programme, designed to promote wellbeing, teamwork, and engagement beyond the classroom. Congratulations to all who participated—and especially to Daniel on his well-earned win!
