ISA Lexden Prize Nomination

19th May 23

On behalf of DLD College London, we would like to make a special mention to Year 13 student, Giovanna Z, who was our nominee for this year’s ISA Lexden Prize.

The Lexden Prize celebrates the most remarkable sixth form students, with their achievements ranging from any aspect of school or community life. Only one nominee is allowed per school, so many congratulations to Giovanna Z, who was nominated by our Principal Irfan Latif, not just for her outstanding academic achievements but for her impact on the wider school community.

“Giovanna is a truly remarkable student and has seized every opportunity available to her at DLD College London. She is unfailingly proactive, industrious, and prolific in her activities; moreover, in her time at school, her innate positivity and maturity have had an extremely positive influence on her peers and, indeed, on our staff.

She was elected as Head of School by the staff and the students, and her impact has been felt across the school. With her intellectual range, initiative and sheer enthusiasm for learning, she also co-founded The Zarrebini Foundation, a charitable organisation which teaches over 200 Brazilian students English thereby giving them more opportunities for success.

As a leader she will certainly leave behind a compelling legacy at DLD College London.” Principal Irfan Latif
