Finalist in Prestigious Independent School Parent Awards

We are delighted to announce that we have been named a finalist in the Independent School Parent School of the Year Awards 2025 in the category of Outstanding Fundraising Achievements.
This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment of our students and staff to making a positive impact both locally and globally. Over the past year, the DLD community has engaged in a wide range of charitable activities, from fundraising for our neighbours at Evelina London Children’s Hospital and taking part in sponsored runs for causes close to our students’ hearts, to volunteering in Morocco to support a community project improving local school facilities.
Principal James Kidd commented, “Recognition of any of the great work the DLD College London community undertakes is always great to receive, but I am particularly pleased with this one. ‘Qualifications and Character’ was my tag line for students in September – yes, achieve excellent grades, but be good humans along the way, too! Giving back is a big part of that – well done, team!”
As a school in the heart of London, we are incredibly proud of the positive difference our students continue to make. Reaching the finalist stage highlights the values of compassion, resilience and community spirit that define the DLD experience.
