Parent Testimonials from DLD College London

Dear Gareth and Fumi,

I just wanted to write a quick note to say a very heartfelt ‘thank you’ to you for all your positive comments and continuing care for Ilya. The more I see of what you both do at DLD, the more aware I am of how much care and concern there is about Ilya’s progress and how much effort you both put into making sure he does his best.

Fumi – it was lovely to meet you (I am sure your classes are great fun!) and to hear that Ilya is doing so well for you. He has taken a long time to get to this point, but it is wonderful to hear that he is finally doing himself justice and getting the grades we all know he is capable of. Thank you for keeping him up to the mark and encouraging him so warmly.

Gareth – thank you for keeping on top of Ilya’s punctuality and attendance – it makes a huge different to him knowing that he has to check in with you each day – and please keep up the good work. His IELTS teacher, Christalla, pointed out that he has a lesson with her at 8.50 am on Mondays and Thursdays, so these are the key days for him to make an effort to be on time.

Thank you for everything you do to make this happen – I know that I speak for Irina when I say we are both very grateful.

It was a wonderful evening from our point of view, and I just wanted to express gratitude, both for myself and on behalf of Irina, that Ilya is being so carefully nurtured and encouraged at school.

Very best wishes,

I would like to thank you and your team for all the support and dedication for my son. He is 2 years in DLD and he made a lot of progress. He loves the school and the team and we are happy for him to continue to A level in DLD.

It is very kind of you to allow my son this time, I know he is extremely grateful for the extra one to one lessons, as am I.

I just wanted to write and thank you all for all your hard work and patience teaching our daughter over the last year. It was a very hard year for her and without all your support and understanding particularly around homework and deadline she would never have got through it so thank you.

We would like to present our sincere thanks for all the encouragement and guidance that you have given our son to make great progress in his AS Chemistry.

Dear Kirti,

I can’t believe it, in a couple of minutes he finishes his last A level, Physics and then this chapter of his life is over.

Big relieve, but scary as he doesn’t know what he wants to do afterwards. He has so many interests.

I really wanted to thank you as you were so important to is development. You really started his passion for learning and motivated him. He loved your spirit and passion for your subjects and the believe in your students.

That was truly outstanding. Thank you so much. How good that you decided to become a teacher!

All the very best for you, stay healthy and happy.

Many many thanks for giving my son some excellent help with his WJEC Chemistry. He is extremely appreciative of your time and input.

We’d like to thank you for supporting and enabling our son to pursue his interest in Maths well beyond his AS studies. His interest has bloomed whilst at DLD and this is very much to do with you and the other staff in your department. So a short time, but a significant one.

She made amazing progress given where she was for the 2 years before going to DLD and its fantastic she managed to take all her 7 GCSEs. Hopefully she will get the 4 Cs she needs to go on and do a level 3 BTEC in Drama.

Many thanks from both of us for steering our son through the ups and downs of the last year. You have been wonderfully supportive – not least in helping to secure a good offer from Sussex.

We would like to present our sincere thanks for all the encouragement and guidance that you have given our son to make great progress in his AS Maths.
