“I would recommend DLD sixth form because it is a very supportive, attentive and organised college with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I came to DLD to complete my A Levels and I enjoyed all of my subjects which gave me greater understanding of how things worked, both in the environment and in industry.”
“DLD offers a lot of extra-curricular activities for students. I was involved in an Extended Project (EPQ) and attended sessions weekly after college through-out the year, during which, I would show my tutor the research I had been doing and spoke about what I planned to do next. I rapidly improved my writing skills, interviewing techniques and gave a presentation at the end summarising my work; which also helped to improve my public speaking skills.”
Emma went to the University of Exeter to read Biochemistry.
