DLD Extra is a new way of delivering GCSE and A Level tuition. Our targeted programme has been designed to offer a flexible yet intensive approach enabling learners to excel, boosting a student’s current education and helping them to achieve improved results in core subjects.
Combining Saturday School with online support during the week, DLD Extra offers students a comprehensive ten-week tuition programme from expert, experienced teachers from the independent education sector.
Small class sizes enable students to develop and grow in confidence as they follow a structured tuition programme covering the core subjects of English, Maths and Science. Our teachers have in-depth knowledge of the examination board requirements, with some also being examiners themselves.
Our tuition aims to provide:
Our Saturday School is located in DLD College London for the A level programme and in Portland Place School for the GCSE programme. Both schools are located in central London, close to excellent transport links and provide access to ultra-modern facilities including Science laboratories, libraries and IT facilities. The online support on weekdays after school follows a model perfected during the Covid pandemic, which won strong praise from parents and students of our schools. Online learning on weekdays blends seamlessly with on-site Saturday teaching, so DLD Extra students have the best of both worlds.
DLD Extra is brought to you by DLD College London, winner of Boarding School of the Year and the Special Judges’ Award in the Independent School of the Year Awards 2020, and is backed by Alpha Plus Group, the largest provider of independent education in London.
