Ahead of Anti-Bullying Week, DLD College London welcomed Elly Barnes MBE from Educate and Celebrate to encourage LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) discussion. A brand new DLD LGBT+ group has been set up so students can have a safe place to discuss any issues they have in an inclusive and friendly environment.
DLD College London has consolidated its senior leadership team with the addition of highly experienced boarding school housemaster, Thomas Hadcroft. Thomas will be taking on the role of Deputy Principal for Boarding and Welfare.
Students at DLD College London are celebrating posting yet another set of magnificent A-Level exam results this year. Students set a record this year with an overall pass rate of 98%. An incredible 38% of students posted A*-A grades, while 63% scored A*-B and 84% achieved A*-C grades.
DLD student Lorenzo Niyonbgabo’s performance in the DLD Fringe production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night was highly praised by everyone who came to see the show. Lorenzo’s performance was all the more remarkable as it was the first time this budding young actor has tread the boards.
DLD College London’s GCSE students posted a 100% success rate in 20 of 22 possible subjects this year, and the best grades have improved by nearly 10% with 41% of students posting A*-B grades compared to 33% last year.
DLD College London students and staff celebrated the first full year in our new campus this week with a really impressive set of A-Level results. A 98% pass rate set a DLD record in 2016, with a stupendous 38% achieving A*-A grades.

DLD College London’s 5th Annual Summer Ball took place at the UnderGlobe, located beneath Shakespeare’s Globe on Friday 6th May. the red carpet was rolled out for our students as they enjoyed this year’s theme “The Magical Enchanted Forest.”
Talented DLD College London art student Jacob presented his entry, called The Eyes, for the annual end of year Art, Photography and Graphics Exhibition at DLD’s new Westminster Bridge campus.
DLD College London opened its new campus overlooking the River Thames and Waterloo Bridge this week, offering state-of-the-art facilities and classrooms as well as boarding accommodation in its prime London location.
The DLD Fringe Group held the first drama production, an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ seminal work Great Expectations, in the college’s stunning new atrium this week. DLD student and Kensington resident Guillermo Chacártegui was outstanding as one of the leading characters Mr Jaggers, Miss Havisham’s savvy lawyer and Pip’s guardian.
